Grant program terms
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Please read these terms before applying. StudentBuild Grants reviews applications for student-led projects and may provide funding for eligible project costs.
Funding
The website advertises possible grants of up to $500 USD. Submitting an application does not guarantee funding. Any award depends on application review and available funding. Applicants will be contacted using the email address provided in their application.
Eligible project costs
Requested funding should be connected to the proposed project, with a clear and realistic budget. The review team may request clarification or a revised budget before making a decision.
Review and decisions
Applications may be marked Received, Under review, More information needed, Approved, or Not selected. Keep your reference ID and use the same email address to check your status. Do not send duplicate applications just because a notification is delayed.
Accurate information
Applicants should provide truthful information and only share project materials they have permission to use. Fraudulent or misleading applications may be rejected.
Applicants under 18
Applicants under 18 should involve a parent, guardian, or trusted school adult when considering funding, purchases, or agreements. A parent or guardian may need to assist with any required consent before funds are awarded.
Use of funds and reporting
If selected, an applicant may be asked to confirm how funds will be used and provide a brief progress update or evidence of project expenses. The exact process should be communicated before an award is accepted.
Submitting an application does not guarantee an award. Keep your reference ID and check your application status for updates.
